Mercato : Deux options pour Thomas Tuchel
Selon Sky Deutschland, l’entraîneur du Bayern Munich envisageraient de rejoindre Manchester United ou Chelsea la saison prochaine si un poste se libère.
Thomas Tuchel va-t-il faire son retour en Premier League ? C’est en tout cas ce que croit Sky Deutschland. Le média allemand a indiqué, ce lundi 20 mai, que le technicien allemand aurait arrêté deux destinations pour son futur professionnel et les deux conduisent en Angleterre.
Manchester United ou Chelsea…
La première mène à Manchester United. Des contacts auraient déjà été noués entre l’ancien du PSG et la direction mancunienne au cours des deux dernières semaines. Tuchel serait ainsi très tenté par le projet des Red Devils avec la reprise en main sportive de Jim Ratcliffe.
L’autre destination privilégiée par l’Allemand serait Chelsea. Il s’agirait là d’un retour puisqu’il est passé par Londres entre janvier 2021 et septembre 2022. Sky Deutschland croit savoir que le manager né à Krumbach garderait un sentiment d’inachevé de son passage chez les Blues, malgré le gain d’une Ligue des Champions.

Pour le moment, les deux horizons sont bouchés puisqu’Erik Ten Hag et Mauricio Pochettino sont en poste. La position du Néerlandais apparaît toutefois plus que précaire après une saison catastrophique (14 défaites, du jamais-vu depuis la première saison de Sir Alex Ferguson en 1986-1987, ndlr) et finit à une triste 8e place, pire classement du club depuis 1981. Seule une victoire samedi 25 mai en finale de la Coupe d’Angleterre (contre Manchester City à 16h sur beIN SPORTS 2) pourrait éventuellement sauver son avenir dans le Nord du Royaume. En cas de licenciement, Tuchel apparaîtrait comme l’un des favoris à la succession.
En froid avec ses dirigeants, l’Allemand a confirmé la semaine dernière qu’il n’officierait plus la saison prochaine sur le banc bavarois. A 50 ans, son avenir se dessine donc en Premier League. Si les évènements ne tournaient pas en sa faveur, une pause loin du tumulte du football n’est pas à écarter.
