Manchester United Target Tavernier in Surprise Move
Manchester United is reportedly considering a summer move for AFC Bournemouth winger Marcus Tavernier as part of a plan to strengthen the squad’s attacking options.
Manchester United has already begun planning for the upcoming summer transfer window, and one of the names gaining attention inside Old Trafford is Marcus Tavernier, the versatile winger from AFC Bournemouth. The 26-year-old attacker has impressed scouts with a series of strong performances for the Cherries on the south coast, putting him on the radar as a potential reinforcement for United’s attacking line.
However, Manchester United is not alone in monitoring the player. Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are also believed to be keeping a close eye on his situation ahead of the summer window. Meanwhile, Bournemouth could consider selling if their valuation of around £40 million is met. With Tavernier under contract until 2029 and playing an important role in the project led by Andoni Iraola, any potential deal would require a significant offer to convince the club to part ways with the winger.
