Rain limits Gstaad first-round action

Tuesday's schedule was badly affected by the weather and it was the same story on day three of the tournament in Switzerland.
Mona Barthel was leading Viktorija Golubic 6-2 1-6 2-1 when play was suspended on Centre Court, while Stefanie Voegele lost the first set to Carina Witthoeft 6-4 in her homeland and was locked at 4-4 in the second when the rain returned.
Kiki Bertens and Marina Erakovic led 4-3 in the opening set against Tamira Paszek and Annika Beck respectively when the covers came back on.
