Juventus were hardly impressive in their opening league game of the season, getting the better of Parma with a 1-0 victory. A tap in from Giorgio Chiellini in the first half was the difference, although Cristino Ronaldo did find the back of the net although that was ruled out by the finest of margins offside by VAR.
The game could have been an opportunity for Maurizio Sarri to renew rivalries against former club. However the 60-year old will have to wait as he recovers from a bout of pneumonia. Meaning that assistant Giovanni Martusciello will reprise his role on the bench.
Several big-name summer signings were left on the bench last weekend, with Mathius de Licht, Danillo and Merih Demiral all being made to wait for their debut. de Ligt could be given the nod in central defence, although the game is too late for Aaron Ramsey who is still recovering from a hamstring injury.
It will be interesting to see if Juventus will continue to utilize Gonzalo Higuain in attack, the Argentine attacker was seemingly deemed surplus to requirements at the start of the summer, however having linked up with Sarri again (The coach who got the best out of him during his spell with Napoli) Higuain is looking to make his mark again with the Bianconeri.

As for Napoli they opened up their league campaign with a helter-skelter 4-3 away win to Florentina. Having been pegged back no fewer than three times, Lorenzo Insigne headed in the winner, to ensure that Carlo Ancelotti's men came away from Tuscany with all three points.
More worrying perhaps for the Napoli boss will be his defence heading into the clash with the reigning champions. Having conceded three away to Florentina, including a thumping header from Nikola Milenković, Ancholotti will be looking for a better performance from Kalidou Koulibaly at the heart of the defence.
Hirving Lozano has just been signed from PSV and could force his way onto the bench against Juve. The Mexican winger had an enviable record last season in Holland and could be exactly what Napoli need if they are to push their rivals all the way in the title race.
Napoli Predicted Team
Meret; Rui, Kouilbaly, Manolas, Di Lorenzo; Allan, Ruiz, Zielinski; Callejon, Insigne, Mertens
