Allen replaced by Morgan in Wales' World Cup squad
More injury woe for Wales as Cory Allen is ruled out of the remainder of the Rugby World Cup, replaced in the squad by Tyler Morgan.
Centre Cory Allen has been released from Wales' Rugby World Cup squad and replaced by Newport Gwent Dragons' Tyler Morgan.
Allen scored three tries in his country's tournament opener against Uruguay on Sunday but was forced off in the second half with a hamstring injury.
Wales went on to win the Pool A clash 54-9, but were left to count the cost of victory as Liam Williams, Paul James, Samson Lee, Aaron Jarvis and Dan Lydiate also took knocks.
"It's disappointing to lose Cory in this way, especially following his man-of-the-match display against Uruguay," said head coach Warren Gatland.
"Tyler was part of the our extended squad and trained very well and will link up with us in London later today."
Cardiff Blues' Allen becomes the fourth player to withdraw from Gatland's 31-man party, with Leigh Halfpenny, Rhys Webb and Eli Walker having been ruled out before the tournament got under way.
