Lee on course for landmark win
Nine birdies helped Lee Soo-min into a three-shot lead at the Maybank Championship Malaysia, as Nathan Holman finished with a seven.
Lee Soo-min has the chance to mark only his second European Tour start with a win after a stunning 64 gave him a three-shot lead heading into the final round of the Maybank Championship Malaysia.
The 22-year-old South Korean picked up nine birdies on Saturday - including six after the turn - to establish a commanding position at Royal Selangor.
Lee only turned professional in 2014, but impressed when finishing third on his European Tour debut at last October's Hong Kong Open and appeared relaxed when assessing his latest performance.
"I didn't see the scoreboard - I'm just enjoying my game. This week the feeling was good," he said.
"Last week I played in Bangladesh [on the Asian Tour] and I was feeling so good, so I came here, I saw the course. This course [is] my type, because narrow fairways, small greens, that's good for me.
"If I keep my ball on the fairway then it will be good for me to try and score."
Marcus Fraser is Lee's closest rival, a faultless five-under 66 lifting the Australian into second at 12 under.
However, Fraser's countryman Nathan Holman - the leader at the halfway stage - would have been just one off the pace had he not run up a triple-bogey seven at the 18th.
Holman's final-hole misery, which ensured he signed for a 73 to be 11 under, came after he had bounced back from a poor front nine with four birdies in five holes from the 13th.
Masahiro Kawamura (67), Jorge Campillo (69) and Miguel Tabuena (69) share fourth, five shots behind Lee, while Danny Willett dropped back to six under.
