No action against Marussia for De Villota crash
No action will be taken against Marussia after Maria de Villota's crash in testing in 2012, which ultimately led to her death a year later.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has confirmed Marussia - now known as Manor - will not face any action over the accident which ultimately led to the death of test driver Maria de Villota.
In July 2012, De Villota crashed into a support truck at Duxford Aerodrome, which caused her to lose her right eye.
She was cleared to drive again, but died in October 2013, aged 33, "as a consequence of the neurological injuries she suffered".
On Tuesday, a HSE spokesperson said: "The investigation is now complete and no enforcement action is being taken.
"Both the company [Manor Grand Prix Racing] and the DP's [deceased person's] family have been informed."
