Roma 3-0 Parma: Match Report
Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored twice as Roma moved into third place in Serie A
A.S Roma managed to move up to third place following their 3-0 win against Parma.
Roma had a very convincing game, creating a high number of chances playing with real promise, a huge improvement from their slow start to the season.
The early pressure paid off as Borja Mayoral put his side 1-0 up in 28th minute. Their luck rapidly increased as four minutes later Henrikh Mkhitaryan bagged his side's second with a stunning strike before clinically grabbing his brace five minutes before half-time.
Parma struggled to make any clear cut chances in the second half as Roma showed real control both offensively and defensively. The result means that the giallorossi are now undefeated in ten games in all competitions, and have leapfrogged Juventus into third place in the Serie A standings.
