Curry leads Warriors, Cavs trump Pistons
The Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Mavericks all won in the NBA on Tuesday.
The Golden State Warriors returned to winning ways on Tuesday after Stephen Curry inspired the NBA-leaders to a 114-107 victory against the Washington Wizards.
Golden State (44-10) were beaten 104-98 by the Indiana Pacers in the absence of Curry, who missed the match on Sunday due to a sore foot.
But the NBA All-Star made his presence known on the court at Verizon Center in Washington, top scoring with 32 points in a dominant road win.
Curry was 11 of 18 from the field, while he also tallied eight assists for the Warriors, who have now won five of six.
Warriors team-mate Klay Thompson scored 17 points, while Marreese Speights added 16.

The slumping Wizards (33-24), who have now lost four games in a row and nine in 11, were led by veteran Paul Pierce and his 25 points.
Washington duo John Wall (16 points, 11 assists) and Marcin Gortat (16 points, 11 rebounds) both had double-doubles.
The Cleveland Cavaliers made it three wins on the bounce with a 102-93 victory at the Detroit Pistons.
Kevin Love starred with 24 points, which included eight three-pointers in Detroit.
Four-time MVP LeBron James posted 19 points and 11 assists for the Cavs, who improved to 36-22.
Detroit pair Reggie Jackson (22) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (21) combined for 43 points.
Monta Ellis and Dirk Nowitzki helped the Dallas Mavericks past the Toronto Raptors 99-92.
Ellis sunk 20 points and Nowitzki chipped in with 18 of his own as the Mavericks (39-20) extended their winning streak to three games.
The game in Dallas was marred by an animated exchange of words between Mavs coach Rick Carlisle and guard Rajon Rondo, who did not return to the court after the incident in the third quarter.
Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook had a triple-double as the in-form Oklahoma City Thunder won their seventh successive game.
Westbrook registered 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in the Thunder's 105-92 win over the Pacers.
Serge Ibaka contributed 23 points and 10 boards for the Thunder (32-25), who are now two-and-a-half games behind the San Antonio Spurs for seventh spot in the Western Conference.
