The NBA is a star-driven league, and it is a given that LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and the usual suspects will get a lot of attention.

But every year new stars emerge, bubbling up to take the league by storm.

Here are five players who could step into the limelight in 2015-16.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
Jabari Parker may be the new face of the Bucks, but Antetokounmpo arguably has just as high a ceiling. The 20-year-old doubled his scoring output in his second season, going from 6.8 points per game to 12.7. There is no reason to believe he will not improve even more. Bucks coach Jason Kidd said Antetokounmpo will play all five positions this year, so buckle your seatbelts.

C.J. McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers
He has the misfortune of playing the same position as All-Star Damian Lillard, but if we learned anything from the Golden State Warriors, it is that the days of designated point and shooting guards may be numbered. McCollum averaged just 6.8 points per game last season, but upped that number to 15.6 points per game in April and averaged 17 per game during the play-offs. It is a safe bet the new-look Blazers will find ways to get the ball in his hands more this season.

Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons
Drummond enters his fourth NBA season already among the league's best big men statistically, as he averaged more than 13 points and 13 rebounds in each of the past two seasons. Look for his numbers to get even better as he no longer has to share the middle with Greg Monroe, who now calls Milwaukee home. With Drummond heading into free agency in 2017, expect him to have even more motivation to put up big numbers on a team that could turn heads in the East.

Victor Oladipo, Orlando Magic
The second overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, Victor Oladipo built on a solid rookie season (13.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists) by improving his scoring (17.9 points per game) and shooting percentage (43.6) during his second season.

Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers
Jahlil Okafor is Philadelphia’s new toy, and Joel Embiid’s lingering injury issues are cause for worry and then there is Noel. After sitting out the 2014 season recovering from a knee injury, Noel took a little while to adjust to the NBA. He improved his numbers across the board following the All-Star break, averaging 13.1 points, 10 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 2.1 steals per game. It remains to be seen how he and Okafor will work together, but there is no where to go but up for the Sixers.
