Harden 'definitely' finishing career with Rockets
James Harden plans on spending the rest of his career with the Houston Rockets.
Houston Rockets guard James Harden intends to see out his career with the NBA franchise.
Harden is contracted to the Rockets through to the 2017-18 season and the three-time All-Star has no plans to leave Houston.
In an interview with the Houston Chronicle, the 2014-15 MVP was asked if retiring with the Rockets was his plan and he replied: "Definitely. Definitely it's going to end here."
Harden arrived in Houston in 2012 after being traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He has averaged 26.3 points per game since his arrival.
"Obviously, my workplace is amazing, people I'm surrounded with, that I come to work with every day," Harden said.
"I'm in a happy place. Fans here in Houston show me so much love and support. Everything is flowing in a positive way right now. I'm all smiles."
Harden averaged 27.4 points and seven assists while leading the team to the Western Conference Finals last season.
