The game
Carlos Alcaraz won the Australian Open title after defeating Serbia’s Novak Djokovic in the final by a score of 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, and 7-5, becoming, at 22 years and 272 days old, the first player to win all four Grand Slam titles.
Alcaraz is riding a wave of momentum that promises he’ll be the new face of tennis, and at just 22 years old, he managed to defeat the Serbian, who had won his first Grand Slam in Australia back in 2008, the only title he held at that age. Meanwhile, the Spaniard has already amassed six Grand Slam titles.
