Jack Draper announced he has withdrawn from Queen's this week as he looks to recover in time to play at Wimbledon this year.

The 24-year-old has already missed the Australian Open and French Open in 2026 with an arm and a knee injury respectively, but is expected to feature at the third major of the season.

Draper last appeared on court in Barcelona in April, retiring in the third set of his opening round clash with Tomas Martin Etcheverry.

He also progressed to the quarter-finals of Indian Wells in March, defeating Novak Djokovic in the last 16 before losing in straight sets to Daniil Medvedev.

"Recovery is going in the right direction, but I'm going to give myself one more week and aim to return at Eastbourne," Draper told Sky Sports.

"Very hard to miss one of my favourite events of the year."

Playing in Eastbourne rather than Queen's will give Draper an extra week of preparation for Wimbledon.

Draper has also added former Wimbledon champion Andy Murray to his coaching team in preparation for the grass-court season.
