The Exorbitant Price of the Most Exclusive Tickets for the 2026 World Cup
FIFA has released the first hospitality tickets for sale, valued at $73,200
There's still a little over a year to go before the ball gets rolling at the 2026 World Cup, which will take place next summer in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. In fact, it's the first World Cup that will feature 48 national teams… although most of them have yet to secure a spot in the tournament. However, a huge turnout is expected, which is why FIFA has launched its first hospitality ticket package—with a completely outrageous price.

Packages from $25,800 to $73,200
In partnership with On Location, FIFA's main ticket distribution partner, this first hospitality package has been made available for fans who want to attend several matches of the 2026 World Cup, held at different venues across the United States. In total, the United States will host games in 11 cities for the 2026 World Cup, and fans who purchase this hospitality package will be able to attend up to nine matches.
According to information published by The Athletic, the price of these hospitality packages ranges from $25,800 to $73,200 for the most luxurious options. So, if the maximum number of matches included in the package is nine, fans could end up paying more than $8,000 to watch a single World Cup match.
"They're much more than just tickets"
The only United States venue that will host nine matches is Dallas, while cities like Los Angeles and Atlanta will have to settle for eight. The same goes for New York, although it has been chosen as the host city for the 2026 World Cup final. “There will be a wide range of products available for nearly every kind of fan to ensure an unforgettable experience. The World Cup is a can't-miss event,” said the report from The Athletic.
The type of packages offered by FIFA in collaboration with On Location go beyond simply watching the match from a premium seat. They also include exclusive gifts, private lounges, and high-end food menus. “They're much more than just tickets; they offer top-tier experiences and immersive ways for fans to enjoy the tournament. We are preparing curated culinary offerings, local flavors, and highlighting traditions from the host cities—truly living the World Cup experience.”
