Klopp also avoided revealing how he plans to approach the match. The German admitted there is still uncertainty over what Xavi will prepare with the Netherlands, while making it clear that Germany will look to impose its own style from the start.

“We want to play good football. But we also want to be a little surprising”, Klopp said, leaving open the possibility that his team could introduce some unexpected movements. With so few training sessions available, the priority appears to be communicating clear concepts and getting the players to respond quickly.

Klopp accelerates Germany's preparation

Klopp's return to daily coaching has also involved an intense preparation period. The manager explained that he has held several meetings with the players since his arrival, something he considers necessary to speed up the squad's adaptation to his methods.

“I'm new, so at the beginning you have to talk a little more,” Klopp explained, adding that the team has held meetings on consecutive days before training sessions and traveling for the match.

The German coach returns after more than two years away from the dugout, but insisted that he does not feel his coaching knowledge has faded. He compared his return to work to “riding a bike,” convinced that his experience is still there.
