Erling Haaland added another record to his growing collection after scoring twice in Norway’s 3-2 win over Denmark in the UEFA Nations League. The striker reached 64 international goals and once again proved decisive for his country.

That tally moves the Manchester City forward past the 62 international goals scored by Ronaldo Nazário and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to figures cited by The Athletic. It is another historic benchmark for a player who continues to climb the all-time scoring lists at remarkable speed.

The achievement is even more striking considering Haaland needed only 56 appearances for Norway to reach 64 goals, maintaining an average of more than one goal per game at international level.

A Match-Winning Brace Against Denmark

Oscar Bobb opened the scoring for Norway in the 14th minute, and Haaland struck just four minutes later to double the lead. Antonio Nusa drove forward at pace and slipped a pass into the left side of the box before Haaland finished low through the goalkeeper’s legs.

Denmark responded through Mikkel Damsgaard and Rasmus Højlund, drawing level in a game that had appeared to be under Norway’s control.

But Haaland delivered again in the 74th minute. After a well-worked short-corner routine, the striker met a low ball at the near post and turned it into the net to secure the 3-2 victory.

Haaland Keeps Scoring for Manchester City

The latest international milestone comes during another strong start to the season for Haaland at Manchester City. The striker has scored seven goals in seven matches across all competitions.

Five of those goals came in his first five Premier League appearances, while the other two were scored in a single UEFA Champions League match.

Since arriving at the Etihad Stadium, the Norwegian has registered 169 goals and 30 assists in 205 appearances, while playing a major role in a trophy-laden period that has included two Premier League titles and a Champions League crown.

Portugal Next Up for Norway

After the win over Denmark, Norway will now face Portugal on Sunday in a crucial match that could have major implications for top spot in their Nations League group.

Norway will then take on Wales on Thursday, October 1. Haaland heads into both matches with 64 international goals and another opportunity to extend a record that still appears far from finished.
