The French national team experienced a light-hearted and emotional moment ahead of their participation in the UEFA Nations League. During a team meeting, head coach Didier Deschamps paused the routine to request a special round of applause for the Paris Saint-Germain players who had just been crowned UEFA Champions League winners.

Champions Reunited at Clairefontaine
The scene quickly went viral on social media, marked by smiles, curious expressions, and shared laughter. In the room were the newly crowned European champions: Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, Lucas Hernández, and Warren Zaïre Emery. Also present were Kylian Mbappé former PSG star and several Inter Milan players, who had been on the receiving end of a 5-0 defeat in the final just days earlier.

Deschamps not only praised the champions but also offered words of support for those on the losing side. “It’s always good to win titles, but I also want to mention Marcus (Thuram) and Benji (Pavard), who won’t have the same feeling. This is the highest level of world football, and while we all want to win, it doesn’t always happen,” said the coach empathetically.
