Future finals already have a stadium
The UEFA Executive Committee confirmed this Tuesday the venues for the finals of its club competitions for the upcoming seasons, with Camp Nou as the stage for the 2029 Champions League and the German Allianz Arena for the next season in 2028.
At the meeting held in the Greek city of Thessaloniki, the Executive also decided that the final of the women's 'Champions' 2027-2028, which was sought after by, among others, the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao, will be held at the Parc Olympique Lyon (France) and that the 2028-2029 season final will be played at the National Stadium of Wales, in Cardiff.
Barcelona's stadium was vying for the men's Champions League final against London's Wembley Stadium, which has been chosen to host the two semifinals and the final of the next Euro 2028, to be jointly organized by England, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
