Nice and Benfica to Clash in Champions League Qualifying Round
The French side and the Portuguese giants will face off in one of the most anticipated ties of the Champions League qualifying stage.
UEFA held the draw this Monday in Nyon, Switzerland, to determine the matchups for the third qualifying round of the 2025/26 Champions League. Among the standout pairings is the showdown between OGC Nice and Benfica, as well as a fierce contest between Feyenoord and Fenerbahçe, led by head coach José Mourinho.

Another thrilling clash will see Feyenoord go head-to-head with Fenerbahçe, now under the command of José Mourinho, in what promises to be a tactical and emotional encounter.
Elsewhere, the draw includes matchups such as Rangers vs Panathinaikos and potential ties involving Club Brugge, Salzburg, Servette, and Viktoria Plzen.
The first-leg matches are scheduled for August 5 and 6, with the second legs to be played on August 12. The goal for all contenders: to reach the prestigious group stage and compete with the best clubs in Europe.
