Paris Saint-Germain began their 2026-27 UEFA Champions League campaign in emphatic fashion. The European champions cruised to a 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava at the Parc des Princes, making a powerful statement on Matchday 1 of the League Phase.

The star of the night was Ferran Torres, who delivered an unforgettable performance by scoring a hat trick.

FERRAN TORRES AND DEMBÉLÉ TEAR SLOVAN APART

Ousmane Dembélé opened the scoring in the 17th minute and struck again six minutes later to put PSG 2-0 up. The Frenchman was a constant nightmare for the visiting defense.

In the 31st minute, Ferran Torres scored his first goal as a PSG player in the Champions League. After the break, the Spanish forward found the net again in the 47th minute before completing his hat trick in the 56th minute, once again benefiting from his connection with Dembélé.

Slovan Bratislava pulled one back in the 59th minute through Suleiman Camara, but the response was never enough to threaten PSG’s commanding lead.

Fabián Ruiz put the finishing touch on the rout in the 88th minute, scoring a spectacular volley after a corner kick. The 6-1 victory gave Luis Enrique’s side its first three points and a strong start to the defense of its European crown.
