Simone Inzaghi Once Again Praises Lamine Yamal
Ahead of the Champions League semifinal between Inter Milan and Barcelona, Simone Inzaghi once again praised Lamine Yamal, calling him “extremely dangerous” and confirmed he will be “closely watched” in the second leg.
When asked about the challenge of facing a team like Barcelona, Inzaghi was full of praise. “They’re the most offensive team in the world. They dominate possession, press immediately after losing the ball, and have top-class players like Lewandowski, who is back in the squad.”
He also recalled the heartbreak of losing the final in Istanbul and the club’s ambition to return to that stage. “That memory still lingers. We know how painful it is to come so close. Now we’re two games away from a title, and we want to make history.”
Inzaghi, who could match Helenio Herrera by reaching a second Champions League final with Inter, made his goal crystal clear: “We need to be focused, sharp, and fearless. This is our moment.”
