Neuer: "It Will Be Another Final at The Bernabéu"
Bayern Munich will have to do without Portuguese Raphaël Guerreiro in the upcoming matches after suffering an injury, while Matthijs de Ligt and Jamal Musiala, absent due to injury in the match against Stuttgart, completed Sunday's training session.
According to the medical examination results, Guerreiro suffered a ligament and ankle capsule injury during the Bundesliga match against Stuttgart on Saturday, Bayern reported in a statement.
Guerreiro had to be substituted in the 17th minute of the match, which Bayern lost 3-1.
On the other hand, De Ligt participated in the training session with Bayern players who were not starters in Saturday's match.
The center-back had also not participated in the match against Real Madrid due to injury and had recently been training individually.
Similarly, Musiala, who was also absent on Saturday due to injury, completed Sunday's training session.
Looking ahead to the second leg of the Champions League semifinals against Real Madrid, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel emphasized that "the next four days are crucial" and assured that the team will change its focus immediately.
"We must play as we did on Tuesday and take advantage of our opportunities," he added.
For his part, Serge Gnabry pointed out that against Real Madrid, Bayern players must "take advantage of the goal-scoring opportunities" they can create.
"We had a good game in the first leg, had many goal-scoring opportunities, and could have scored one or two more goals. That's very important for Wednesday," he added.
Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer stated that they are aware that "a very important match" awaits them on Wednesday and added that their team must show "a bit more killer instinct."
"But it will be another final at the Bernabéu," he concluded.
