(VIDEO) PSG's Incredible Celebration After Winning the Champions League
Paris Saint-Germain celebrated their historic UEFA Champions League triumph with a 5-0 win over Inter Milan, sparking unforgettable scenes both in Munich and across Paris.
Paris Saint-Germain reached the pinnacle of European football by capturing their first-ever UEFA Champions League title, crushing Inter Milan 5-0 at Munich’s Allianz Arena. With this win, the Parisian club wraps up the 2024-2025 season with a historic treble, having already secured the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France.
From the final whistle, scenes of unfiltered joy erupted on the field and in the stands. The players, led by Luis Enrique, embraced, sang, and lifted the trophy under a sky filled with fireworks as fans chanted with unrelenting passion.
Back in Paris, the celebrations were equally euphoric. Crowds gathered along the Champs-Élysées, near the Eiffel Tower, and inside a specially lit Parc des Princes, all rejoicing as the club finally broke its European curse.
A Historic Triumph
The PSG victory not only marked their maiden Champions League crown, but also set a record for the biggest margin of victory in a UCL final. Goals came from Achraf Hakimi, a double by Désiré Doué, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu. The 19-year-old Doué was named Player of the Match for his standout performance.
This milestone reflects a new era for the club, reinforcing the project led by Luis Enrique, and signaling that PSG is ready to compete at the very top of European football.
Celebrations and Challenges
Although the celebrations in Paris were initially peaceful, several areas later witnessed unrest. Reports indicated incidents involving arrests and property damage. Authorities are investigating in hopes of maintaining public safety for future events.
Despite these setbacks, PSG’s title will go down as a historic achievement in both French and European football.
