(VIDEO) PSG dominates the first half against Inter Milan in the Champions League final
Paris Saint-Germain totally controlled the first half against Inter Milan in Saturday’s Champions League final. The French side went into halftime with a 2–0 lead, thanks to goals from Achraf Hakimi in the 12th minute and Désiré Doué in the 20th.
Right from kickoff, PSG took charge, kept possession, and created constant danger up front. Under Luis Enrique, they found space out wide and took full advantage of Inter’s lack of intensity, pushing forward without much resistance.
Inter sit back and struggle to respond
Inter Milan were pinned back for most of the first half and struggled to play out from the back. Their only real chances came from set pieces—two headers off corner kicks, one from Francesco Acerbi and another from Marcus Thuram—but neither really troubled the keeper.
The first half clearly belonged to PSG, who not only got the goals but also controlled the pace and flow of the game. The second half could get interesting if Inter manage to regroup and fight their way back in.
