It was far from a comfortable afternoon for the hosts. In the 18th minute, Tammy Abraham opened the scoring, and Václav Černý doubled the lead just four minutes later.

Trabzonspor could hardly believe what was happening, as the league’s second-placed team found themselves trailing against the side sitting fifth.

The Albanian Ernest Muçi pulled one back for the hosts, but the relief was short-lived, as Černý struck again to make it three for Beşiktaş.
