Beşiktaş Scores Big Away Win Against Rizespor, Maintains Top Table Position
In Fernando Santos' debut as the coach of Beşiktaş, the Black Eagles managed to win by an impressive score of 4-0 against Rizespor in a match corresponding to the 19th week of the Turkish Super League, held at the Çaykur Didi Stadium.
During the game, the score opened very early, with Albanian midfielder Milot Rashica scoring a fantastic goal from outside the box at the 4th minute of the first half, giving the visitors a momentary 1-0 lead.
Later on, it was the moment of Turkish forward Semih Kılıçsoy, who unleashed a brace at the 45th and 46th minutes to increase Beşiktaş's lead to 3-0, leaving Rizespor on the ground with no hope of gaining points from the match.
In the final stretch of the game, one more goal would come at the 79th minute, courtesy of the team's starting forward, Cenk Tosun, securing the final score at 4-0 in favor of the new team led by Portuguese coach Fernando Santos.
With this result, Beşiktaş remains in the upper part of the table, temporarily sitting in the fourth position with 32 points. On the other hand, Rizespor slightly drifts away from the top positions, as the defeat keeps them momentarily in the sixth position with a total of 29 points.
