In the Istanbul derby of Matchday 34 in the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş faced off at the Ülker Stadyumu, where the Black and Whites claimed a 1-0 victory.

The winning goal was scored by Gedson Fernandes in the 44th minute.

Just minutes earlier, in the 36th minute, Gedson Fernandes had the chance to give Beşiktaş the lead from the penalty spot, but failed to convert.

With this result, Fenerbahçe, still in the title race, remains on 75 points and heads into the final four matchdays eight points behind leaders Galatasaray. Meanwhile, Beşiktaş continue their push for a European spot, climbing to 55 points and moving into fourth place.

On the next Süper Lig matchday, Fenerbahçe will visit Rams Başakşehir, while Beşiktaş will host Adana Demirspor.
