Mohamed Salah delivered a spectacular performance in the Turkish Süper Lig, scoring a hat-trick and providing an assist in Trabzonspor’s 4-0 win over Galatasaray on Matchday 6.

SALAH WAS AN UNSTOPPABLE “TIGER”

The show began just four minutes into the match. Following a Galatasaray throw-in, Mustafa Eskihellaç won the ball and found Salah, who sprinted from his own half, covered 85 meters, and went one-on-one with Uğurcan Çakır before finishing with a low shot to make it 1-0.

In the 39th minute, Salah was involved again. Following a quickly taken set piece by Fabinho, the Egyptian received the ball and set up Noah Saviolo, who calmly placed his shot into the far corner to make it 2-0.

Five minutes later, Franculino Dju pressed high, won the ball and played it to Salah inside the box. The forward made no mistake, firing first-time to make it 3-0 in the 44th minute.

The Egyptian completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute. Ozan Tufan found Salah during a quick transition, and the forward carried the ball into the box before calmly finishing past Uğurcan Çakır to seal the 4-0 victory.

A NIGHT TO FORGET FOR THE “LIONS”

The Turkish champions had no answer to the home side’s attack and suffered their first defeat of the season. Okan Buruk was sent off in the 72nd minute after initially receiving a yellow card for leaving his technical area.

Things got worse in the 85th minute, when Lesley Ugochukwu was initially shown a yellow card, but following a VAR review, the decision was upgraded to a red card, leaving Galatasaray with 10 players.

With three goals and an assist, Mohamed Salah was decisive in one of the standout individual performances of Matchday 6 in the Turkish Süper Lig.
