Juventus boss Igor Tudor conceded that Sunday's goalless draw with AC Milan was a fair result, but demanded that his team to "keep working" in order to experience success. 

In a game of few chances, it was Christian Pulisic who made the headlines, with the Milan talisman firing over a penalty in the 53rd minute after Lloyd Kelly's clumsy challenge. 

Rafael Leao then squandered two late chances for the Rossoneri to snatch all three points, but both of his efforts were off target as the spoils were shared at Allianz Stadium. 

The result saw Juventus record five draws in a row in all competitions for the first time since April 2006 while under Fabio Capello, and sit fifth in Serie A, three points off Napoli.

Juventus did, however, become only the second side in Serie A history to keep five consecutive clean sheets against AC Milan, after Triestina (six between 1935 and 1938).

But it was in the final third that cost them, having mustered an expected goals (xG) tally of just 0.68 from their 12 shots to Milan's 1.74 from their 13 attempts in the match. 

Speaking to DAZN, Tudor acknowledged the draw was fair but insisted his team is progressing.

"It was the kind of match we expected – difficult, against a strong team," he said.

2We wanted to win, both sides had chances, and in the end, a draw is fair."

The last eight matches between Juventus and Milan in Serie A have seen just six goals, an average of 0.75 per match, with three of the last four games between the two Serie A giants ending in a goalless draw, as many times as the previous 36. 

But in an attempt to improve that statistic, Tudor made a triple change in the 69th minute, replacing Kenan Yildiz, Francisco Conceicao and Jonathan David. 

Dusan Vlahovic, Khephren Thuram and Lois Openda all came on in their place, but the trio were unable to make an impact on proceedings during their time on the pitch. 

Tudor's decision was not popular among the home supporters, but he was quick to back up his reasoning behind making the triple change.

"[Kenan] Yildiz, [Francisco] Conceicao and [Jonathan] David were tired – they've played so much. We tried to finish with more cover and energy," Tudor added. 

 "With two more goals, we'd have two more wins. That's football. We have to keep working – we'll always be on track."
