Rafael Leao revealed he has held talks with AC Milan about a potential exit this summer, but he still does not know where his future lies.

The 27-year-old has two years left on his current contract at the San Siro, with Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Tottenham all linked with the forward.

Leao joined Milan from Lille in 2019 and has gone on to make 291 appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring 80 goals and providing 55 assists.

He leads Milan players in both goals and assists since his arrival, while his 107 direct goal contributions in Serie A (64 goals, 43 assists) are the sixth-most among all players in the Italian top flight since 2019-20.

Milan finished fifth in Serie A last season, missing out on Champions League qualification under Massimiliano Allegri, who has since been replaced by Ruben Amorim.

While Leao does not know which club he will be playing for by the end of the summer transfer window, he insisted he will continue to give his all while at Milan.

"I’ve already spoken with the club about the possibility of trying a new experience," said Leao on Brazilian podcast Podpah, via La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I don’t know what will happen, I have to show up at Milanello on July 29, and as long as I’m there, I will always give my best and respect the shirt that has given me everything.

"It’s a club that has helped me a lot in so many different ways, but in life, you have other ambitions as well.

"I will study the options, but for now, I remain a Milan player."

Milan face Celtic, Inter, Chelsea and Manchester United in pre-season friendlies before their Serie A campaign starts on August 23 against Torino.
