Is Neymar Returning to Europe? Interest From Italy Revives the Brazilian Star’s Dream
The Brazilian star could be preparing his long-awaited return to Europe this winter. A couple of Italian clubs are already exploring the possibility of signing him.
Neymar’s New Ambition
Neymar Jr.’s future could once again be linked to European football. According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian is preparing for a possible return during the winter transfer window, once his contract with Santos expires in December. Free to negotiate from January, the forward has reportedly been offered to several clubs across Europe, including some in Italy’s Serie A, who are now seriously considering his signing.
The player’s entourage, led by Pini Zahavi, has reactivated talks with top-level teams that previously ruled out his arrival. The difference now lies in his improved physical condition and his renewed motivation to compete at the highest level in what could be a decisive year for his career.
Europe Back on Neymar’s Radar
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that two major Italian clubs — Inter Milan and reigning champions Napoli — who turned down the opportunity to sign him last summer, are now re-evaluating the move. The solid relationship between Zahavi and both clubs’ executives has reopened the door for a possible return of the 32-year-old star to the European stage.
Neymar is eager to regain form and international visibility, aware that Europe remains the ideal stage to showcase his talent. If negotiations move forward, his signing could be completed in early January.
The Dream of Wearing Brazil’s Shirt Again
Beyond the transfer market, Neymar’s biggest goal is to return to the Brazilian national team. Under Carlo Ancelotti’s leadership, the forward hopes to reclaim his spot in the Seleção and arrive in top shape for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
To achieve that, he’s looking for a competitive club that can help him shine again — even if only for a few months. One thing is certain: Neymar hasn’t said his last word in Europe.
