Fiorentina is celebrating its 100th anniversary by making one of the boldest statements of the summer transfer window. The Viola have already invested more than €100 million in new signings as they look to re-establish themselves among Italy's elite.

Only Juventus and AC Milan have spent more in Serie A, underscoring the club's determination to bounce back after a difficult campaign in which Fiorentina spent much of the season battling near the bottom of the table.

Sporting director Fabio Paratici and head coach Fabio Grosso have overseen the arrivals of Arthur Atta, Christ Inao Oulaï, Giovanni Fabbian, Marco Brescianini, Víctor Valdepeñas, Álex Jiménez, Radu Drăgușin, and João Mário, while veteran goalkeeper David de Gea remains one of the team's cornerstones.

Among the headline additions are former Real Madrid academy products Víctor Valdepeñas and Álex Jiménez, who both cited Fiorentina's ambitious project as a key reason for joining the club.

With Grosso implementing an attacking style of play and more reinforcements still being linked with the Viola, Fiorentina hopes its centenary season will mark the beginning of a return to domestic and European prominence.
