Bastoni 'in love with Inter' and not planning to leave, says agent
There have been a lot of questions over where Alessandro Bastoni will be next season, but his agent insists he will be staying at Inter.
Alessandro Bastoni's agent Tullio Tinti says the defender is "in love with Inter" and has no intention of leaving during this transfer window.
Bastoni has two years left on his current Inter contract but has been linked with moves to Real Madrid or Al-Hilal; the latter would see him link up with former head coach Simone Inzaghi.
He joined Inter from Atalanta in 2019 and has since helped the club win three Serie A titles, three Coppa Italias and three Supercoppa Italianas.
Bastoni was also part of the teams that finished as Champions League runners-up in 2022-23 and 2024-25.
"My players and I generally respect our contracts," Tinti told Sky Sport Italy.
"Bastoni still has two years left; he's in love with Inter.
"He's not thinking of moving to another club. If two clubs are interested, one might start talking. But all this talk isn't enough for a serious negotiation right now.
"Has he considered leaving Italy? I don't think so; maybe I would have thought so. He has a strong personality. Life has its good and bad times, but he's managed to come out on top."
Bastoni made 44 appearances for Inter in all competitions last season, scoring three goals and registering six assists.
He also helped the team keep 12 clean sheets and won the joint-most tackles among his team-mates (50, level with Federico Dimarco) and the second-most duels (193).
