Live: Braga vs. Sporting CP | Liga Portugal
The Liga Portugal is back, bringing one of the most attractive matches of the round. Sporting CP travels to face Braga in a clash that could have important implications near the top of the standings.
The team managed by Rui Borges currently sits third with 15 points after drawing its last two matches against Famalicão and Arouca.
The Lions need to get back to winning ways to avoid losing further ground to Porto and Benfica, who are ahead of them in the standings.
However, the international break has left the visitors with several questions. A number of players returned with limited recovery time, meaning the coach will have to carefully assess his starting lineup.
One of the biggest concerns involves Luis Javier Suárez, who has returned from international duty with Colombia. The striker could start on the bench due to the physical demands of his international commitments.
If the Colombian does not start, Fotis Ioannidis could be an alternative to lead the attack.

Braga Looks to Make Home Advantage Count
On the other side, Braga will look to take advantage of its home support to secure an important result against one of the title contenders.
The team coached by Carlos Vicens has several players capable of making a difference in attack, particularly Ricardo Horta, whose experience, creativity, and ability to create danger near the opposition's penalty area make him a key figure.
Pau Víctor is another player to watch, having established himself as one of the Portuguese side's attacking options.
During his pre-match press conference, Rui Borges acknowledged the difficulty of the fixture, highlighting Braga's high pressing, defensive intensity, and ability to create chances after winning back possession.
Sporting CP will need to produce its best performance to secure all three points in one of the toughest away fixtures on its schedule.
