Senesi to leave Bournemouth on a free transfer
Tottenham, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with Marcos Senesi, who has confirmed he is leaving Bournemouth.
Marcos Senesi has confirmed he will leave Bournemouth when his contract expires at the end of the season, having been linked with a move to Tottenham if they avoid relegation.
Senesi joined Bournemouth from Feyenoord following the Cherries' promotion back to the Premier League in 2022 and has made 114 top-flight appearances for the club.
Only 12 players have appeared more times in the Premier League for Bournemouth, who have enjoyed three excellent seasons under head coach Andoni Iraola, who is also leaving at the end of this campaign.
Bournemouth only need two points from their final two games to break their Premier League points record for the third time in as many campaigns, having tallied 48 points in 2022-23 and 56 in 2024-25.
They are currently sixth in the table with Manchester City and Nottingham Forest still to play, and if Aston Villa win the Europa League, a sixth-placed finish would bring Champions League qualification for next season.
Senesi was recently linked with a move to Spurs, provided they avoid relegation, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain also being touted as possible destinations.
"I'm proud of everything we achieved over the last four years," Senesi told the club's website. "I will look back at my time here with fond memories.
"For now, there are still two big games left of the season, and I'm looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together."
Bournemouth host City on Tuesday, due to Pep Guardiola's team being involved in Saturday's FA Cup final, before travelling to the City Ground on the final matchday.
