The player had been waiting for negotiations between the two clubs to progress, but after failing to secure special permission to stay away, he will have to report to the new manager of the English side, Enzo Maresca.

According to information published by outlets such as MARCA and Mundo Deportivo, Rodri remains intent on seeking a new challenge and making the move to LaLiga. However, while Barcelona works to find the financial formula needed to convince City, the midfielder must fulfill his commitments in England.

Barcelona Pushes Forward as Rodri’s Price Remains the Main Obstacle
