An uncertain future at Manchester City

The future of Bernardo Silva at Manchester City remains unclear. “I sleep better when he plays, and I need to take care of my health,” the Catalan coach joked, underlining just how vital Bernardo Silva is to his system.

“He has fire in his eyes”

Guardiola went further when describing his player’s competitive nature.

“He’s a competitor, he has fire in his eyes. Hopefully he can spread that fire to the rest of the group,” he said.
Then came the most telling quote. Asked directly about a potential renewal, Pep delivered a reflection that sounded more like a legacy statement:

“I would love for him to stay forever. But we’ve talked a lot, and he has to decide what’s best for him and his family. Whatever happens, in 10 years he will still be remembered as one of the greatest players in this club’s history.”
