Burnley re-sign Bruun Larsen from Stuttgart
Burnley have completed the signing of Jacob Bruun Larsen, with the Dane returning to the club following his loan spell in 2023-24.
Burnley's summer recruitment continued as they welcomed familiar face Jacob Bruun Larsen back to Turf Moor on a permanent deal from Stuttgart.
Bruun Larsen, who spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan with the Clarets in their last season in the Premier League, has put pen to paper on a four-year contract.
The Denmark international made 36 appearances for Burnley across all competitions in his previous stint, scoring seven goals, six of which came in the top flight.
He appeared 32 times for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga last season as they finished ninth in the division, but clinched a spot in the Europa League after their DFB-Pokal triumph.
Bruun Larsen started just six of those matches in the German top flight, but was able to notch six goal involvements (three goals, three assists) for the club.
"I'm so happy to be back, to be honest. It's a good feeling," Bruun Larsen told Burnley's official website.
"It was a very easy decision for me. Once I knew the club were interested, I just knew that I was ready to come back and sign here permanently.
"I can't wait to run out that tunnel again at Turf Moor in a few weeks and see all the fans again."
Bruun Larsen is Burnley's 10th signing of the summer window as Scott Parker's team prepare for their 10th season in the Premier League.
He joins the likes of Loum Tchaouna, Marcus Edwards and Jaidon Anthony in providing the Clarets with a plethora of options in the wide attacking areas.
Quilindschy Hartman, Bashir Humphreys, Zian Flemming, Max Weiss, Axel Tuanzebe and Kyle Walker have also completed moves to Burnley.
Burnley start the 2025-26 campaign with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur on August 16.
