Bradley signs new Liverpool contract ahead of Alexander-Arnold exit
Conor Bradley has pledged his future to Liverpool for four more years ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold's exit at the end of the season.
Conor Bradley has put pen to paper on a new four-year contract with Premier League champions Liverpool.
Bradley, who has made 27 appearances in all competitions this season, has made major strides under Arne Slot during the Reds' title-winning campaign.
The Northern Irishman's role in the first team is expected to grow following the news of Trent Alexander-Arnold's exit at the end of the season.
But Bradley could still face competition for the starting right-back spot, with reports suggesting Liverpool have triggered Jeremie Frimpong's £29.5million release clause.
The 21-year-old joined the Reds from Dungannon Swifts in 2019 and made his debut for the club in 2021 before spending a season on loan at Bolton Wanderers.
Bradley, capped 24 times by Northern Ireland, had two years left on his existing deal, but his growing stature will be recognised in his new contract.
The defender drew huge praise in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League first phase after performing well against Kylian Mbappe at Anfield.
In the Premier League this season, Bradley has won 10 tackles, created five chances and won 45 duels, and he is looking forward to what the future holds on Merseyside.
"To sign another contract, I'm very proud and happy to see what the next steps on our journey together will be," Bradley told Liverpool's club website.
"You've just got to keep your head down and keep working hard. It has been a fantastic two years [with the senior team].
"Especially since coming back from loan and doing so well last year, and continuing that on this year. So, hopefully we can keep going and keep making more memories."
Bradley could be in line for a starting spot in Liverpool's next league fixture, with the Reds' penultimate game of the season coming away to Brighton on Monday.
