Arsène Wenger Reacts To Arsenal’s Premier League Title Win After 22 Years
The legendary manager behind the Invincibles quickly reacted after Arsenal finally returned to the top of English football.
Arsenal finally returned to the top of English football
The wait is finally over for Arsenal. After more than two decades without winning the Premier League, the Gunners mathematically secured the title following Manchester City’s slip against Bournemouth.
Pep Guardiola’s side dropped crucial points, leaving them unable to catch Mikel Arteta’s team and immediately triggering celebrations across north London and among millions of Arsenal fans around the world.
The title marks Arsenal’s first league triumph since the legendary 2003-04 Invincibles season, the iconic team led by Arsène Wenger that finished the campaign unbeaten.
Arsène Wenger was one of the first to react
The legendary French manager wasted no time celebrating the achievement. Wenger, considered by many the most important figure in Arsenal’s modern history, appeared in a video shared by the club on social media after the title became official.
“You did it. Champions go on when others stop. This is your time. Now go and enjoy every moment,” Wenger said in the message published by Arsenal.
The words from the Frenchman carried enormous emotional weight for supporters, especially because he was the last manager to deliver the Premier League trophy before the long drought finally ended under Arteta.
Mikel Arteta changed the club’s recent history
After several painful near misses in recent years, Arsenal finally completed what many consider a nearly perfect domestic campaign.
The London side built the strongest defense in the league and maintained a level of consistency that had previously escaped them during decisive moments of past title races. Players such as Bukayo Saka, Martin Ødegaard, Declan Rice, and William Saliba proved essential in returning the club to the top.
The title also represents massive validation for the long-term project led by Mikel Arteta, who endured years of criticism and pressure before transforming Arsenal back into one of Europe’s elite clubs.

The Emirates is dreaming big again
With the title officially secured, Arsenal now turns its attention toward establishing itself as one of Europe’s dominant clubs over the coming years.
The combination of youth, talent, and stability built by Arteta has many believing this championship could simply be the beginning of a new golden era for one of England’s most historic football institutions.
