Alejandro Garnacho’s Manchester United Nightmare: Sidelined and No Offers in Sight
More problems for the Argentine at United? Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly been separated from the squad while the club waits for offers… but none have arrived yet. Is the door closing on him in Europe?
Garnacho, erased from Amorim’s plans
What was supposed to be a quiet preseason has turned into a tense saga for Alejandro Garnacho. According to Sport, the Argentine winger has been removed from Manchester United’s first-team dynamic, while the club awaits potential transfer offers. Although there's been no official statement, those close to the player already assume he's not part of Rubén Amorim’s plans.
The breaking point reportedly came after a confrontation with the Portuguese manager, following some controversial comments Garnacho made about his lack of minutes at the end of last season. Amorim hasn’t forgotten—and United is already working on a way out.
Offers that don’t convince
While some offers have come in, none have met Garnacho’s expectations. The most serious, according to British media, came from Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, which submitted a lucrative bid… but Garnacho turned it down. His priority remains staying in Europe’s top leagues.
There have also been whispers about a possible return to Atlético de Madrid, where Garnacho played before moving to England. However, there’s been no formal approach from the club or Diego Simeone so far. Just speculation for now.
No clear path… and time is running out
With the summer transfer window wide open and United undergoing major changes, Garnacho’s future remains uncertain. He’s currently on the sidelines, in what seems more like a strategic move than a sporting one. The problem? No concrete options on the table.
His departure from Old Trafford feels inevitable, but Garnacho isn’t ready to settle. He’s determined to keep playing at the highest level in Europe. But with every passing day… that window may be closing.
