Premier League Title Race Heats Up!
Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool. One of the three will be champions. Who? It will be decided in an exciting final stretch.
The Premier League is the only major European league that does not yet have a definitive champion. In Italy, Inter secured the title. In Germany, the surprising Bayer Leverkusen took the crown. In France, the dominant PSG triumphed. And in Spain, pending mathematical confirmation that could come as soon as this weekend, Real Madrid.
In England, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool (albeit a bit behind) are competing for the league title in the final stretch of the season (three games left for the Gunners and Reds; four for the Citizens). Excitement until the end.
Currently, Arsenal leads the table with 80 points, followed by City with 79 points (and a game in hand). Third is Klopp's Liverpool with 75 points.
According to Opta data, the favorite to lift the trophy is the reigning champion, Manchester City, with a 65.15% chance. Arsenal follows with 34.8%, while Liverpool is given a mere 0.05%.
Everything points to another showdown between Guardiola and Arteta, but a couple of bad games could change everything. So, it may be difficult to decide the outcome of this exciting Premier League until the final matchday.
