Guardiola is The Best Coach in The Premier League
Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, has been named the best coach of the Premier League after securing his fourth consecutive title with the club.
The Spaniard won the vote over Mikel Arteta of Arsenal, Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth, Unai Emery of Aston Villa, and Jürgen Klopp of Liverpool.
"I would like to share this award, especially with Mikel Arteta, for the incredible work he has done right up until the last match, pushing us to the limit," Guardiola stated.
"I also want to mention Klopp, for the unforgettable battles we have had over the years, and Unai Emery, for achieving something as incredible as taking Aston Villa to the Champions League. And Andoni Iraola, with Bournemouth, for what he has achieved in his first season in the Premier League," he added.
"It is an honor to be alongside them and to win this trophy. We will defend this award as best as possible in the future," he concluded.
This is the fifth time Guardiola has won this title, having also won it in the 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2020/2021, and 2022/2023 seasons, making him the second most prolific coach in history, behind only Alex Ferguson, who won it eleven times with Manchester United.
