Feeling the History

Steve Kapuadi, 27 yo, a Legia Warsaw defender describes games vs Górnik Zabrze as something "where you can really feel the history". He adds that during the last home encounter vs Górnik "the support from our fans was a bit extra special." He thinks that despite the fact that both teams play really good defense this season there will be goals in this one: "They will come from our side!"

Memorable Past Games

Kapuadi also remembers a game vs Górnik in April of 2022, where his former team Wisła Płock was up 2:0 in Zabrze at halftime, but ended up losing 2:3. Last two goals were scored by none other but Lukas Podolski. "This was a strange game. On Sunday it will be a different story. We don't know if he is going to play, but we will keep an eye on him."

World Cup Aspirations

Finally he still hopes that his DR Congo national team makes it to the 2026 World Cup. "Many footballers dream about playing in the Champions League and the World Cup so it would be a dream come true for me."
