Goalless Draw Between Legia Warsaw and Arka Gdynia
Legia Warsaw continues to showcase its defensive strength at the start of the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa season, with goalkeeper Kacper Tobiasz once again standing out as a key figure.
On Sunday, the young shot-stopper delivered another flawless performance, keeping a clean sheet for the second consecutive match. It's the first time he has done so in back-to-back league games since July 2024, highlighting the excellent form he’s currently enjoying.
But Tobiasz wasn’t the only hero of the afternoon. Damian Węglarz, Arka Gdynia’s goalkeeper, also made crucial saves and denied the hosts at the Polish Army Stadium. Thanks to his efforts, a remarkable streak of 10 consecutive home matches in which Legia had scored against Arka came to an end.
With this goalless draw, Legia Warsaw remains the only team yet to concede a goal this season. Two games, zero goals allowed, and a backline that’s making the difference so far in the Polish top flight.
