Neymar Could Shake Up the Transfer Market to Reunite With Messi and Suárez
Neymar’s future is once again uncertain at Santos, and a potential departure could open the door to one of the most anticipated reunions: joining Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez at Inter Miami.
The transfer market could be preparing for a move capable of shaking up MLS. Neymar, 34, is entering the final months of his contract with Santos and has yet to decide what he will do with his career beginning in 2027. While the Brazilian considers his options, Inter Miami has once again emerged as a potential destination.
His contract with the Brazilian club expires on December 31, and if the two sides fail to reach an agreement on an extension, he will become available as a free agent. The situation also comes amid some tension with Santos, after the forward recently left the club’s facilities without taking part in a recovery session. Despite the frustration caused by the incident, he later returned to training and was not sanctioned.

The MSN Could Have One Final Chapter
The biggest attraction of a potential Neymar move to Inter Miami would be the opportunity to reunite with Messi and Suárez. The three shared the field at Barcelona between 2014 and 2017 and formed one of the most dominant attacking trios in recent years.
During their three seasons together, they won nine trophies, including the Champions League, as well as two LaLiga titles and three Copa del Rey trophies. Their greatest achievement came during the 2014-15 campaign, when they played a fundamental role in helping Luis Enrique’s team complete the treble.
That season, the trio combined for 122 goals across all competitions: 58 from Messi, 39 from Neymar, and 25 from Suárez.
Inter Miami an Option With Questions
The situation would be completely different this time. Inter Miami has been going through a period of transition following the departures of Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, meaning the potential arrival of the Brazilian would have a major impact both on and off the field.
However, questions remain. Injuries and a lack of consistent playing time have affected Neymar’s recent seasons, making his physical condition one of the main factors to consider before any potential move.
For now, there is no agreement between the player and Inter Miami. Neymar remains under contract with Santos and has also left open the possibility of staying in Brazil, pursuing a new adventure, or even retiring.
But if he decides to continue playing and becomes a free agent at the end of the year, Miami could become the stage for one final dance. Messi and Suárez are already there, and the transfer market could give the legendary MSN one more opportunity to write another chapter together.
