In his farewell, Messi described him precisely as his father, friend and representative.

The Argentine also recalled that Jorge wanted to see him play in the 2026 FIFA World Cup and revealed that throughout the tournament he waited to receive a message from his father after every match.

He even confessed that he wanted to reach the final to give him enough time to recover so he could be there with him.
