Which Other Players Did PSG Renew Alongside Luis Enrique to Keep Them Long Term?
These are the five players who received contract extensions from the French and European champions.
Paris Saint-Germain used the buildup to their match against Monaco to announce several important contract extensions. The Parisian club renewed the contracts of Fabián Ruiz, Willian Pacho, João Neves, Lucas Beraldo and Senny Mayulu, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining a competitive squad in the years ahead.
The day was also marked by Luis Enrique’s contract extension through 2030, a decision that further strengthens the French club’s long-term sporting project.
One of the biggest announcements was Fabián Ruiz’s contract extension, with the Spanish midfielder now tied to PSG until 2028. He joined the club from Napoli in 2022 and quickly established himself as an important part of the team.
The Spain international has already made 172 appearances for the Parisian side and has been part of one of the most successful periods in the club’s history. Since arriving, Fabián Ruiz has won 14 trophies with PSG.
His renewal gives the French champions experience and quality in midfield for the seasons to come.
PACHO AND JOÃO NEVES, KEY LONG-TERM INVESTMENTS
PSG have also secured the futures of two players who have become important members of the squad: Willian Pacho and João Neves.
Both players have signed extensions through 2031, highlighting the club’s confidence in their performances and potential. Pacho, the 22-year-old Ecuadorian defender, joined PSG in 2024 and has already made 106 appearances for the French club.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Portugal international João Neves also arrived in 2024 and has reached 100 appearances for PSG. His youth and growing influence make him one of the key players the club intends to build around for the future.
BERALDO AND MAYULU REPRESENT PSG’S FUTURE
The contract renewals also included two promising young players. Lucas Beraldo, the 22-year-old Brazilian defender, and Senny Mayulu, the 20-year-old French forward, have both extended their contracts until 2031.
With these moves, Paris Saint-Germain are not only retaining key players from their current squad but also securing several of their most important long-term investments.
The renewals of Fabián Ruiz, Pacho, João Neves, Beraldo and Mayulu reflect a clear strategy: maintain a strong, young core for the years ahead. With Luis Enrique under contract until 2030, PSG are giving continuity to a project designed to compete for every major trophy.
