Luis Enrique challenged Paris Saint-Germain to "live up to our status as French champions" when they face capital rivals Paris FC in their final match of the Ligue 1 season.

Despite a tough challenge from second-place Lens, PSG claimed their fifth successive domestic crown on Wednesday with a game to spare, following a 2-0 defeat of their nearest challengers.

It is the third of four trophies Luis Enrique's side could potentially win this season, with the Champions League final against Arsenal coming up at the end of the month.

PSG will round off their Ligue 1 campaign against local rivals Paris FC, who have won four of their last five Ligue 1 home games, and could potentially record their highest ever top-flight finish of 11th place.

"It's the last match for us. We're champions, but our goal is to win the game," Luis Enrique told reporters during his pre-match press conference. "It's a derby, and we have to live up to our status as French champions.

"We're happy to play this last game almost at home, in the sense that we don't have a real trip to make. The close proximity of the two stadiums makes it very special. Paris FC deserve to stay up; they're a good team. We want to perform and play with ambition.

"It was a special season, we have said it regularly. I'm very happy with the attitude that we have shown, the resilience, which is a word I like.

"Lens have had a great season, too, and that made things difficult for us. It's great to win in the end."

It will not quite be a clean sweep of silverware this season for PSG, who were eliminated from the Coupe de France at the round-of-32 stage.

Nevertheless, their absence from this year's final means they have a 13-day gap between Sunday's clash and their Champions League showpiece.

"We don't have a Coupe de France final to play this season, so we're going to work well ahead of the [Champions League] final," Luis Enrique added.

"We're going to study every aspect that we want to work on. We want to get there at our best technically and physically. And there are no favourites in a final."

Paris FC – Ilan Kebbal

Kebbal is Paris FC's top scorer in Ligue 1 this season with nine goals.

The Algeria international could become the fourth player in the club's history to reach double figures in a top-flight campaign, after Louis Floch (16 in 1972-73 and 14 in 1973-74), Francois Felix (19 in 1973-74), and Jean-Francois Beltramini (14 in 1978-79).

Paris Saint-Germain – Desire Doue

After providing an assist against Lens, Doue has been involved in at least one goal in each of his last four Ligue 1 matches (two goals, two assists), his longest such streak in the division.

The forward could equal his record for direct involvements in a single top-flight campaign (12 in 2024-25).

PSG are unbeaten in their last 26 Ligue 1 matches against newly promoted sides (W21 D5), with their last such defeat coming in January 2021 against Lorient (3-2).

Luis Enrique's side have kept six clean sheets in their last seven away matches in all competitions, as many as in their previous 25. You have to go back to 13 February to find the last time they conceded an away goal in Ligue 1 (against Rennes).

PSG have had 18 different goalscorers in Ligue 1 this season – more than any other team – and could see 19 different players score in a single campaign for the first time in their history.

Paris FC have conceded the most penalties in Ligue 1 this term (12 – eight scored), while PSG have conceded the joint-fewest (four – one scored).
