Toulouse, who had started the season with two clean-sheet wins, were left stunned as PSG stormed into a 4-0 lead by the half-hour mark. Neves opened the scoring in the 7th minute, before Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé (from the penalty spot) added to the tally, alongside Neves’ acrobatic strike of the night.

Despite being overwhelmed, Toulouse had a chance to reduce the deficit. Charlie Cresswell pulled one back after Lucas Chevalier’s initial save, and the hosts were awarded two penalties before halftime.
